The sense of achievement and pride you feel in writing an eBook is second to none. Writing something so involved is really worth the time and effort, not just for sharing your knowledge, but for the feedback you receive from those who read it. Yet when most people think about writing an eBook, they automatically think it will be too hard, when it's really quite simple. The most important factor that determines that success of your eBook is how effectively you write it and present it in front of your target audience.
Firstly, if you're going to write an eBook that will contain factual data and lots of researched material, be sure your research is correct and you're offering valid information. Don't try to pass off your eBook with vague facts or unverified figures. You need to be certain that your eBook is offering true value information to your readers if you want success. So always run your researched material through an exhaustive check for validity before including it. This can offer you a measure of protection against any problems that could arise.
Before your ebook gets published, ask someone to give you a bit of unbiased feedback. Sometimes a second set of eyes may pick up something you missed on your own, which gives you the opportunity to improve your work.
If you have an opt-in list of subscribers, you could ask them to read it through for you. This feedback will help you carve out the best eBook because you're basically asking your potential readers what they want before actually hitting the publish button, which is really important.
Once you have finished writing your eBook you need to figure out how much to charge for it. Your price shouldn't be complicated. Conduct an in-depth market research and gather feedback as to what pricing point would be right for your eBook. Don't just go with a random price that you like; it is better to know what your target audience is willing to pay. Keep in mind that the initial price you choose won't be unchangeable; you can pick a better one later on if you need to do so.
